Global warming is unfortunately hot lately, it’s the subject were all thinking about, how much effect did I as an individual have on global warming, what can I do to reduce my carbon footprint on Mother Earth?
The effects of the warming of the planet, the proposed theory of global warming can be deigned, but there can be no doubt the planet has been hotter in the last century, the physical and scientific facts are now obvious for us all to see.
British Columbia has in the last few years been devastated by the effects of the warming of the planet with the loss of billions of dollars of forests, scientists estimate that about fifty percent of British Columbia’s pine forests have currently fallen prey to the pine beetle, the increase in this insect, which has existed in North America for along time, has been directly linked by scientists to the rise in the numbers of pine beetles which is threatening to destroy the future of British Columbia’s forest industry.
The loss of British Columbia’s forests has recently been reported by the scientists at the Ministry of Natural Resources Canada to be resulting in an increase in global warming equal to Canada’s annual forest fire carbon emissions, instead of manufacturing the oxygen we all breath as it was designed by nature to do, British Columbia’s once pristine pine forests have turned into a source of global warming.
This report puts increased pressure on Canada to reduce greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere, making it harder for Canada to meet global requirements to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions to the agreed levels, and considering the fact that Canada is not currently meeting their greenhouse emission goals, means the battle against the effects of global warming is becoming more difficult for average Canadians, every day.
Canada, like all industrialized countries, has been one of the main culprit in the last centuries rape of the planet and has certainly played its part in global warming, and then some, whether we as Canadians want to admit it or not. The example by which the next generation of Earth Sheppard’s will form their desires for Mother Earth needs to be set by all concerned Canadians, and all humans, if global warming is to be controlled and eventually overcome, and it will be a long and arduous journey, of discovery and pain, but one we need to undertake with the human soul if we are to survive and the next generation to live.
Be an Earth Sheppard; begin today to make the necessary changes in your life style and expectations, so that Mother Earth and the next generation of life on planet Earth can all continue.
Let me leave you with this one final point about global warming, in the end if you aren’t part of the solution, you will be part of the problem, and we apparently have our share of problems lately on planet Earth.
