Mother Earth is screaming for a cessation to human progress on spaceship Earth. Lately, she has been erupting, storming, sliding, and shifting in an attempt to alleviate the effects of the human virus infecting her body.

The current, and on going, upheaval in the environment systems of the planet is her reaction to human progress altering her skin in unnatural ways, not in tune with her natural processes. To the massive input of human created energy in the form of industrial waste and the exhaust of the devices we use regularly every day.
The next generation of children will be the Earth Sheppard’s of tomorrow, will inherit the results of the last century of human progress and if we are to survive, will be the driving force for change on this ball of space dust we call Earth.

We as the ‘adults’ need to set an example to teach the next generation about the reality they are inheriting to show we understand the part we played in the current environmental crisis on Mother Earth and help educate this generation about the mistakes our generation made in regards to caring for the only place in the universe we currently know human life can exist, the planet Earth.

Prince George is a north British Columbian city with citizens considered normal for British Columbians’. They go to work, raise their children, care about the environment, when its not going to hit them in their life style or pocket book, and wish someone else would make the sacrifices necessary for life on Earth to continue, so they could just continue living and polluting as they always have.

The city is moderately clean, depending on where your living, the air is easy to breath, as long as you live outside the bowl area where the air contains high concentrations of air particulates associated with decreased lung-function, and the city is just one of hundreds of similar BC cities with like thinking citizens.
A percentage of Prince George residents have taken Mother Earth under their wing, have altered traditional ways of thinking about the environment on spaceship Earth, but when you look around parts of the city it appears these individuals are fighting a losing battle against the unbelieving and uncaring attitude of many of Prince George’s residents, who continue to pollute and litter the city at a prodigious rate that leaves those trying to keep the city clean, working over time to pick up their garbage.
Litter and pollution left strewn around Mother Earth’s house by the percentage of Prince George citizens less concerned about litter and garbage decorating their piece of paradise, or maybe they just feel it’s a losing battle, is a tragedy and insanity at work.

Is Prince George a normal North American city? If so, then we have a lot more to learn as humans and citizens about the needs of our little piece of space dust. A lot more to learn about what is required to keep Mother Earth in tune with the needs of the life forms existing on her surface.

Pick up the litter you see everyday, remember to spend time analysing your habits as regards being an Earth Sheppard towards the Mother who gave us life.

Spend time teaching the young ones the values and new habits we need to form in order to keep life on Earth alive, take the time to think about the actions we all take every day that affect the health of the planet and all life on Earth will prosper, not just you.

All life forms on Earth are interrelated in ways we are just beginning to truly understand and comprehend; reliant on the survival of other forms of life in order to survive, and this is a truth beyond denial.

Remember, chaos breeds life, when order breeds habit, that life begins as a mystery, and it will end in mystery, but what a savage and beautiful country lies in between. That what we do in life, reverberates through the lives of those that follow in our tracks, and we should therefore tread carefully.

Recently the theorizer of the Chaos Theory, Edward Lorenz, died. The chaos theory says that a minuscule effect could bring mammoth changes somewhere else, or as famously said by him that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the ocurrence of a tornado in a certain location. So it is interesting to see that people predict changes going to occur decades later when they can’t predict about tommorrow.

I am not against being Green, but I really find it difficult to appreciate the kind of fanfare going on in the name of Green.

The fact is that we have out grown in number and the earth could not take us anymore. Countries like India and China also talk about demographic dividend and manpower. But I think too much of population is not going to help.
We need to take strict measures to control population unless we are able to establish colonies in other planets!
