Cut back on gas consumption; recycle products that are renewable; reduce carbon dioxide emissions; plant more trees, every where in Canada and around the world, people and governments are looking for ways to improve the environment and give Mother Earth a break from her housework in these important areas of the environment.
Around the planet people are walking more, riding their bikes, leaving their cars at home when they can, and trying to think more about their choices on an individual basis and its possible effects upon Mother Earth, and this is a welcome and necessary trend on spaceship Earth.
Prince George, British Columbia and all across Canada lately more people have been leaving their vehicles at home and skipping the high prices at the pump in favour of a more relaxed and Earth friendly transportation, whenever possible.
Transit numbers all across the country are showing percentage increases that have transit companies and the government smiling about the changes occurring to the thought modes and transportation choices Canadians are starting to make on a daily basis more and more.
Transit company Go has been smiling a little more lately, recent numbers show that the number of passengers on its buses and trains are up 8 percent over this same month last year, about 15,000 more daily riders, and the numbers they say are continuing to go up as Canadians attempt to alleviate the costs associated with going to work or play and similar numbers will probably be found soon in all the transit firms serving Canadians around the country and the world.
We really have no choice, not if were going to tackle the environmental problems were currently wrestling with, and this is just one necessary move to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in Canada and around the world. Canadians and humans around the world will be making use of more traditional forms of transportation in the decades to come that many of the poorer countries and peoples of the world still use in their daily lives, such as horse power, human power and other forms that produce less or no excess products during operation.
We humans need to head back to the farm, to the loving arms of Mother Earth once again, to get in touch with the real needs of humans on the planet, and away from the synthetic world that is slowly killing us in ways we may never learn about.
Humans and the planet Earth are interrelated, connected in ways we have forgotten in our synthetic world of non organic inventions, yet both humans and the Earth are essentially organic beings composed of natural elements that make up the biosphere of our planet and in the end, if we are to survive and prosper, humans need to find these ancient connections once again and use them to restore Mother Earth to her health and beauty.
