The weather is beautiful in British Columbia, sunny and warm, and we have a wonderful summer to look forward too, and are looking forward towards a future full of promise. We live in one of the best places, financially, economically and personally in the world, and yet not all is perfect in this land of milk and honey. We have in front of us an opportunity to truly become loving sons and daughters of Mother Earth, teach our children what is necessary for the next generations of humans on spaceship Earth to survive, prosper, and move toward their destiny with belief in the ability of humans to solve any problem.

BC’s new climate action bill is a move toward that destiny of a healthy Earth, and when it’s passed into law, BC’s communities will be heading down the road to a cleaner planet.

Many of BC’s communities are concerned about the need to reduce green house emissions in our daily lives, if were going to give our children a future that can make us proud as parents, more bills like the new climate action bill will need to be brought into law to force those not wanting to reduce their green house emissions, to do so.

100 local governments in BC have signed onto the province’s Climate Action Charter in the last year and another 60 or so are contemplating it, what choice do they really have, probably not much, not if were actually going to move the province toward a promising future.

Municipalities are currently implementing plans to plant additional trees within their boundaries, willing cutting back on electricity and heat use where applicable, converting city vehicles to use alternate fuels and cutting back on vehicle usage when applicable. Their making use of landfill methane emissions to produce electricity and heat, and at the same time reducing emissions by an amount equal to 380,000 tonnes of CO2.

The necessity for British Columbian municipalities to reduce green house emissions is about to hit them where they will feel it the most, the pocket book, and this will certainly get the rest of the local BC governments in line.

People, corporations, and individuals not wanting to make the sacrifices necessary for the health and welfare of humans and the planet Earth, will soon find themselves outside the financial-fence looking in. The profits made in the future will be tied directly to a corporation’s ability to be seen as an Earth Sheppard, if they want to continue to do business that is, for soon we humans will develop a different ethical and more code, based upon the new environmental truths we live with every day.

That if you are not a part of the solution to the problem of green house emission and the environment, then you are the problem.

Yeah..agreed, the beautiful coastal region of British Columbia is famous for the temperate climate that is the finest weather in the country. The BC climate varies from marine to continental, and is influenced by the geographical location like east of the warm Pacific Ocean, the north-south orientation of its towering mountain chains, the mountainous topography, the prevailing westerly winds, and the province's northerly latitude.
